Whether youíre single, married, separated, dating, divorced, successful in your career, or struggling to make ends meet, we all need grace.Life brings trials and we are not always able to respond in the way that we would like. Often in these moments, we long to be heard, understood, and loved while gaining perspective. If youíre facing a difficult season, you donít need to struggle alone. With grace and compassion, I invite you to take the first step toward positive growth in your life by coming in for counseling. It would be my pleasure to support you as you journey toward healing with Godís help.
Deep down we all want to be seen, known, and understood. We can all reference a point in our lives when we have been shaped by fear, love, suffering, loss, and joy. Through authentic connection and empathy from others, we find a powerful platform for growth, encouragement, healing, and change. My goals as your counselor are for you to find that connection and empathy, to better understand yourself and your relationships with others, and to overcome any anxiety, loneliness, or isolation you may feel.
I offer warmth, sincerity, and compassion regardless of your situation. I acknowledge and respect the fact that seeking counseling requires courage. As we build a therapeutic relationship, I strive for genuine connection and consider it a great privilege to sit with you and hear your story. As someone dedicated to your well-being, I will graciously challenge you to make the changes necessary for your own growth and overall health.
I approach my practice through the lens of grace. This can be a difficult concept to grasp from any worldview, but from a Christian perspective it offers immeasurable strength to therapy. My goal is to follow the example of Jesus to create powerful, impactful relationships within a therapeutic context. I recognize the effects of brokenness in this world and seek to combine biblical principles with effective therapeutic techniques to cultivate and foster hope and positive growth in my clientsí lives.
